The first association to bees which is made, is of course a honeycomb. From this natural form, we extracted a basic geometric shape – hexagon. From this basic element, we weaved a transparent wooden grid. Why wood? It was a logical choice since wood is a strategic building material in Slovenia.
The space in which the installation is located is in the shape of a dome. This way, the hexagon grid also adapts to the form of the space, becomes optically partially thicker and thereby further enhances the appearance of a honeycomb.
