It is designed for a demanding homeowner who wants to take the full advantage of the site’s natural features, which would be in harmony with the modern city lifestyle. The building consists of three volumes or actually of three branched claws. These create interesting interiors and also incorporate the differently leveled terrain. At the same time they enclose exciting and diverse outdoor ambients that are intertwined with the interior. We created some more intimate atriums along the stream and the forest, included are also intimate terraces intended for relaxation and more open terraces designed for outdoor activities and socializing. There is also a larger area for parking as well.
The living spaces are arranged in three floors and are also separated by their basic function: basement – socializing and entertainment, ground floor – day stay and floor – sleep and rest. Interiors are enriched with different floor levels of the mezzanines, different ceiling heights and opened up views to the outside surroundings through the large glass surfaces. Dominating materials are wood, stone and glass, which reflect warmth and comfort while the clean and simple shapes of the furniture give the interior a modern appearance. The same concept of material usage can also be seen on the outside of the building, where the dynamically shaped ground floor is covered with stone and gives the facility a heavy strong base, while the upper lighter floor is combined of glazed surfaces and elegant wooden elements.
The designed villa would be executed as low-energy prefabricated structure, mainly due to the many advantages that such a construction offers: speed of construction, sustainable, environmentally-friendly, technologically advanced building.
